Zane Powell

Zane Jonathan Powell, born April 19, 1989, died June 18, 2016 in his home at the young age of 27. Zane had a gentle soul, a sharp mind, and a quick sense of humor. He was an avid reader, loved movies, music, concerts, cats, and was gentle with the elderly. As a child he was full of adventure and fearless, crawled at 6 months, rode a bicycle at the age of 3 ½. He enjoyed time with nature, a beautiful sunset, sunrise or anything nature had to offer. He was sensitive with a warm spirit, never malicious: he accepted people for who they were. He shared his jokes, movie quotes, his tenderness, and his love to those around him unassumingly but completely, and he will be forever missed. We hope now he is at peace, happy and free.

Survived by his parents, Heather Davis, Wally Powell; brothers, Zachary, Carson; sisters, Erica, Brandy, and Ammie; and a wonderful extended family.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah, condolences to the family from 5:30 to 7 p.m., memorial from 7-8 p.m.
