William G. Moore of Riverside, California left this world to be with our Heavenly Father on February 5th, 2020. He lived a life full of love and dedication to his family and friends. He was 89.
William was born on November 15th, 1930 in Clarksburg, West Virginia - son of William G. Moore Sr. and Georgia Gillespie Conrad. He enlisted in the National Guard of West Virginia before becoming a United States Marine and serving in the Korean War where he received a Purple Heart. Following Honorable Discharge as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, he attended Woodbury College where he earned a degree in Accounting and spent his career as a Chief Financial Officer.
In 1956, he roller skated his way into the heart and arms of future wife, Marlene L. Grant. They were married 4 years later on August 27th 1960. William is survived by his wife Marlene, his 5 daughters Kay, Kimberly, Michelle, Karen and Cindy and his sister, Sally Hicks. His love and family grew exponentially to include 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. He is loved greatly and will be missed even more.
There will be a viewing at Arlington Mortuary in Riverside California on February 13th, 2020 at 11am. He will be interned at Riverside National Cemetery at 1pm the same day.
