Andrew Mcpherson

William Andrew McPherson passed away March 26, 2022 at home in the arms of his eternal companion with his sons and loved ones.
Andrew was born September 27, 1952, the second son of Earl Lamont McPherson and Arla Nielson McPherson. He married JoLynn Stanworth February 8, 1975 in Nephi, later they were sealed June 21, 2003 in the Manti Temple.
Andrew was always helping others and made lifelong friends. He worked for Greenwood Tire, Bosh Packing Plant, Scott Drilling, and was a part owner of Nebo Drilling. He changed over to construction running many jobs for Geneva Construction where he retired from. It was no secret that he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and farming. There wasn’t much he didn’t know how to fix. He loved taking his granddaughters fishing up to Korey’s. He was the candy man who faithfully delivered his sweet wife’s treats to all those lucky enough to make the list.
It didn’t matter the size or age of the person, he won the hearts of those he met through his daily visits checking in on those he loved.
Andrew is survived by his sweetheart Jolynn, sons Drake (Emily) Hunter. grandchildren Avery, Vivian, and Cole; siblings Paul and Judy McPherson, Joy and Bruce Beal , Timothy and Maxine McPherson, Robbins and Kim McPherson; mother-in law Myrna Stanworth; sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Steven Jarrett, Robert and Tracy Stanworth, Terry and Frana Stanworth, Timothy and Louise Stanworth; many nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by parents, grandparents, sister MaryAnn Jolley, nephews, Jerome Tanner, Benjamin McPherson, and Tradon McPherson.
Viewing will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Viewing April 1st from 10:00 am to 10:45 am. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at the Nephi North Stake Center, 1125 N 400 E, Nephi.
