William E. Jenkins

The world has lost a great man - our Father and Grandfather, Brother-in-law and Uncle, William E. Jenkins. He was born to William E. Jenkins Sr. and Melba Baker on Nov. 22, 1939, and on Aug. 9, 2019 he was called back to his Heavenly Father due to natural causes. Our hearts are broken and he is going to be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his beloved and beautiful wife Sue Jenkins, his twin brothers Lynn and Lyle Jenkins, his father William E Jenkins Sr., and his mother Melba Baker, also mother and father-in-law, and brother-in-law Terry Shepherd.

He leaves behind his daughters Cherine Brydson and Terrie Marsh, his son Tommy Jenkins, his grandchildren Sonja and Steve Johnson, Nick Newbold, Levi Marsh, and Paige Brydson, his great granddaughter Deja Marie Lovato, his sisters-in-law Linda Jenkins and Della Shepherd, brother-in-law Roger Shepherd, and lots of nieces and nephews.

Our Dad was a family man and he worked very hard for all of his life to provide for his family. He was a carpet installer right out of the Coast Guard, he worked for Shag Rug La for 30 years plus. He enjoyed camping and bbq's with family, and he loved his football and old TV shows. And now he is with the love of his life. Rest in peace our sweet dear father and grandfather, we love and miss you.

We are having a graveside memorial on Aug. 22, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Salt Lake City Cemetery in the avenues (4th Ave. and "N" St.) where family and friends can say their goodbyes.
