William G. Ercanbrack, 68, passed away peacefully at home in Coalville, Utah, on April 23, 2025, surrounded by the people he loved most.
Born on May 23, 1956, Bill lived a life that was as genuine and grounded as the country roads he loved to travel. A proud trucker & rancher for many years, Bill had a deep appreciation for the outdoors—from the open road to wide-open spaces. He found joy in the simple things and had a heart big enough to share with all who knew him.
Bill was a devoted uncle, a beloved brother, and a loyal friend. He was known for his quiet strength, sense of humor, and willingness to lend a hand whenever needed. He spent most of his life in Coalville and his place in Idaho, where he felt most at peace.
He is now reunited with his loving wife, Tamara Ercanbrack; cherished daughter, Tina Marie Ercanbrack; and dear son, Jeremy Junior "Little Otis" Ercanbrack. He is also preceded in death by his parents, Beverly and William J. Ercanbrack, along with many beloved aunts, uncles, grandparents, and extended family members.
Bill is survived by his sisters Kay Van Wagoner and Shauna Bigler (Dave), and his brother Blaine Ercanbrack (Elsie), and many nieces and nephews. Their love and memories will continue to honor his legacy.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Bill's best friend, Kip O'Brien, and Kip's wife, Lisa, along with their amazing family, for the endless support, love, and time they gave during Bill's final journey.
Your kindness meant the world.
We would also like to offer a heartfelt thanks to Quality Home Health and Hospice, especially nurses Corey Blonquist and Rory Duncan, for their compassionate and tender care, which not only brought comfort and peace to Bill, but also provided great support and reassurance to the family during a difficult time.
Bill will be deeply missed but never forgotten. He's finally home.
Graveside service will be held Monday, April 28, 2025 at 12:00 Noon at the Coalville City Cemetery. Bill will be laid to rest beside his beloved family. Family and friends are invited to come share stories, laughter, and memories as we honor the life of a man who meant so much to so many.
As the Duke himself once said, “Courage is being scared to death but saddling up anyway.” Bill lived that kind of courage every day.
