Obituary
William (Bill) Alfred Jordan, 86, died on July 4, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada of natural causes. He was born on April 14, 1932, the first of ten children, to Margaret Hauerbach and Alfred William Jordan in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is the first of the ten to leave mortality and will be greatly missed. He attended schools in Salt Lake City, then joined the Utah Army National Guard. During the Korean War, his unit was deployed to Germany where he served for two years. After his honorary discharge from the Army, he moved to Seattle, WA where he worked for Boeing Aircraft. During this time, he met and married Audrey Clark and they were blessed with three daughters, Pam, Sheila and Kelly. They were later divorced and Bill moved back to Salt Lake for several years, then moved to California where he worked for Lockheed Aircraft. He then met Deana Neill, mother of five children, and they were married in 1968. They loved to square dance and often took their family camping in the Sierras. In 1971, they moved to Las Vegas, NV where both Bill and Deana worked in several Casinos. Bill’s specialty was being a Keno dealer, a job he held until 2004 when he retired. Bill loved his family and Bill and Deana’s home was always open to anyone who needed a place to stay. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Pam J Berger (Don), Sheila, Kelly J Peterson, step-sons, Lenny, Kenny and Michael Neill, step-daughters, Aldean Reeder and Joudie Gonzalez, two brothers, Ted (Carol) and David (Nancy), and seven sisters, Barbara Bennett, Janice Hennefer (Ken), Faye Wade, Laraine Darby (Dave), Kathy White, Susan and Christine Sessions (John), and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brother-in-laws, Bob Wade and Keith Bennett, a niece, Julie Hennefer Everett, and nephew, Curt Bennett.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 27, 2018 at the Camp Williams Chapel at 2 pm, preceded by visitation at 1:00 pm. Burial will be at the Camp Williams Veteran Cemetery.
