Bill Massey passed away peacefully on August 11, 2021 with his friends and loving fiance Angie Corwell by his side. Bill was born in West Virginia to Luther and Leola Massey.
Bill grew up in a happy loving home. He loved to play sports throughout his school years, especially baseball. His talent for baseball was recognized as he received many medals for his achievements. His family moved to Utah in search of a new life and work. As an adult Bill was a General Manager for a storage company. He loved this, as it afforded him travel all across the United States.
Bill had two children, Mary Massey and Billy Massey. Sadly they both preceded him in his passing. Bill was an active member of the LDS church. He especially enjoyed the BYU cougars! Bill loved and lived his faith. In his retirement Bill loved to travel and garden and spend time with his family. Bill is once again with his Heavenly Father, walking among the Angels. We will miss him but we know in time we will see him again.
He is survived by his sister Louise Graves, granddaughter Brittania, and great grandson Gage, who was the apple of his eye.
The family would like to thank Hospice and Pheasant Run for the care and compassion they had shown Bill in his time of need.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 20, at 11 am at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale, with a viewing one hour prior to services. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
