William “Bill” Allen

William “Bill” Allen

William “Bill” Edward Allen passed away on Aug. 8, 2022, from complications of lung cancer.

Bill was born Nov. 23, 1934, in Copperfield, Utah, the fifth of six children of Clarence Elijah and Ether May Price Allen.

Bill served in the U.S. Naval Reserve during the Korean Conflict and was deployed to Hawaii.

He married Loa “Boogy” Graham on May 28, 1956.

He was an avid outdoorsman, and loved camping, fishing, and hunting with his kids and extended family. Bill and his family had many adventures and made many memories in the mountains, mostly in the Uintas.

Bill loved to watch the Thunderbirds whenever they came to Utah and any westerns movies that he could find on TV.

Bill is survived by his children: Janna (Larry, deceased) Davis, Shane (Lori, deceased) Allen, Randy (Amber) Allen, John Allen, and Kenny (Cindy) Allen; also, 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Loa; son, Jamie “Bucky” Allen; his parents; brother, Chris; and sisters: Fontella “Fonny,” Francis “Franny,” Beverly “Bev,” and Dixie.

Viewing will be Friday, Aug. 12 at Goff Mortuary from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Murray City Cemetery, 5490 S. Vine Street, Saturday, Aug. 13, at 11 a.m.
