William Perry Barton

William passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of July 11, 2017. He was born on January 3, 1951 in Murray, Utah to Glen F. and Marjorie P. Barton. He was a kind-hearted soul who loved his family, friends, sports, and his dog Brownie. William was such a strong man who always approached any obstacle with a smile on his face. He was consistently there to help anyone in need.

He is survived by his brother Glen E., and sisters Glenda Barton, Ann Halstenrud, Susan Valenzuela (Francisco), Donna Susaeta, and many family members and friends who love him dearly. Preceded in death by his father, mother, and baby brother.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 14 at 1:00 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale, where there will be a viewing Friday 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Interment, Sandy City Cemetery.
