Wesley M. Christensen passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family May 6, 2020.  Wesley was born September 3, 1924 in Levan to James and Vera Christensen. Wesley served in the Navy in WWII and was stationed in the Philippines.  After he returned home he found and fell in love with lifelong sweetheart  (who was the only single girl left in Levan, or at least that's what he said) and married Nola Sherwood on Dec. 22, 1949 their marriage was later were sealed for time and eternity in the Manti LDS Temple  May 29, 1958. Together they had 6 children and enjoyed just being together for over 70 years.

Wesley attended Central Utah Vocational School (trade tech) where he gained his Journeyman Plumbers license and worked at 4-D's pluming in Nephi until age 75. After which him and his wife would clean the offices at Sunset Rail where no one but Wesley was allowed to vacuum because there had to be absolutely no lines in the carpet and if you walked on the carpet after he vacuumed you were in big trouble and he would do it again. Wesley was an avid fisherman and you could catch him almost every day after work fly fishing the creeks and streams up Nephi and Levan Canyons. He was also well known for his gardening skills he always had one of the finest vegetable gardens in Juab County.  He loved hunting and camping with his family and friends.  He also loved spending time with all his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Wesley is survived by his wife Nola, sons Kevin (Diane) Christensen, Gary (Idene) Christensen, Mark (Jeanette) Christensen, Todd (Julene) Christensen, daughter Lori Christensen, brothers Ross Christensen and Von Christensen, 17 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, he was preceded in death by parents James and Vera, brothers Vance, Dennis, Homer, sister Elaine, son Brett Wesley, and great grandson Rexton.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, 11 am to 11:45 am at Anderson Funeral Home at 94 West 300 North, Nephi, Utah.  Funeral Services will be held at the graveside at 12 PM at Vine Bluff Cemetery.  The public is invited to attend, please bring your own chairs.
