Our dear wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, Wendy Whitehead Farr, was called back to our Father in Heaven on Saturday, February 22, 2020. She was born in Los Angeles March 31, 1955 to Howard and Nelda Whitehead. She grew up in Los Angeles and Rancho Palos Verdes. Wendy was sealed for time and all eternity to Kenneth Lewis Farr July 9, 1976 in the L.A. Temple. She spent the last 38 years in Sandy, Utah. She fought valiantly an aggressive bladder cancer for 9 months.
Wendy touched countless lives; everyone that she came in contact with immediately felt of her love and her desire to serve them. Her door was always open for Sunday dinners. She won a sewing competition with a trip to Rome at the age of 10. She was a proud alumna of Dixie and USC. Wendy worked over 30 years as a dental hygienist. She always wanted to participate in the fun, whether it was sports, games, or just conversations. She enjoyed trips to Lake Powell and strengthening all family bonds. She loved her family and was everyone's biggest fan. She had a deep love for her Father in Heaven and was in awe of His and the Savior's love for her. She was a true disciple of Jesus Christ.
She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Howard and Nelda Whitehead.
Wendy is survived by her sweetheart and eternal companion, Kenneth; her children Corey (Brinly, Indi, Scout), Jeffrey (Carrie, Emmalyn, Cameron, Trenton, Lucyann, Griffin, Mackson), Kevin (Amy, Brinsley, Reagan, Dodger, Lewis), Brian (Andrea, Hudson, Kimball, Kennedy), Kelliann, Matthew (Kelsey, Summer); her siblings Elaine, Linda, Kathleen, Gordon, and David; and many nieces and nephews.
She will be sorely missed. We are grateful for our knowledge of the Plan of Happiness and anxiously await the day when we will embrace her again.
