On March 29th 2016 in Salt Lake City, Wendie Ann Russon Rodeback left us unexpectedly at the age of 61 to return to her Heavenly Father. Wendie is survived by her sweetheart Galen Rodeback. Her children; Trudy Rodeback Sylvester (Travis), Jeffrey Rodeback (Leslie), Michael Rodeback (Crystal), Robert Rodeback (Michelle), Michelle Rodeback Bartunek (Brandon), Steven Rodeback. Her Grandchildren; Tiffany Rodeback Pendelton (Greg), Tyler Sylvester, Brayden Bartunek, Skyler Rodeback, Preston Bartunek, Jaren Rodeback, Kira Rodeback, Tristen Bartunek, Chase Rodeback, Jackson Rodeback, Micah Rodeback, Paiten Rodeback, Joshua Rodeback and her Great Grandbaby Jayce Pendleton. Wendie was born to Wendell and Mary Russon on May 25, 1954 in Salt Lake City Utah. Wendie will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her. On August 22 1970, she married her sweetheart Galen. They have been married for 45 years during which time they had six children, thirteen grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Wendie spent most of her life lovingly caring for her children, grandchildren, her great grandson and many others. Family was very important to her, when Wendie was not going to sports games to support one of her grandkids, she enjoyed Saturday dates with her husband. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, playing games, doing crafts, going to Bear Lake, and anytime she could simply just visit with anyone. Wendie was a great listener, teacher and friend to everyone, and loved everyone without judgment. She had a strong testimony of the Gospel and eternal families. Wendie served in many church callings faithfully including scouting, Relief Society, Young Women, and many years in Primary. We love you, and we will miss you so much. God be with you, till we meet again. Viewings will be held at the L.D.S. Church located at 5107 South, 5600 West, Kearns Utah, 84118 from 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday April 4, 2016, and Tuesday April 5, from 11:00 � 11:45. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 P.M. following the viewing. Wendie Ann Russon Rodeback will be laid to rest at Camp Williams, at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park located at 17111 South Camp Williams Drive (1700 West) Riverton, Utah 84065 In lieu of flowers, donations to help with funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
