Vivian Patel

Loving wife, daughter, sister, and aunt, died on May 10, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones.

Vivian was born to Peter and Anne Yengich-Kosovich on November 10, 1940 in Highland Boy, Bingham Canyon, Utah. She married the love of her life Tulsidas (Tom) Patel on December 18, 1965.

Vivian graduated from Jordan High School and attended the University of Utah. She was an executive secretary to the president of a large corporation, she also earned her real estate license and worked for Caldwell Banker. She and her husband started their own business, Encino Mail & More, where she enjoyed working for 30 plus years.

Vivian was a wonderful caretaker of her mother-in-law & sister-in-law for numerous years. She was also a great cook “we will miss her spaghetti” and wide variety of Indian dishes.

Survived by husband Tom, sisters Soozi (Ron) Burke, Michelle (Ken) Carlos, sisters-in-law Meera (Manu) Patel, Veena (Vinod) Patel, Lopa Patel, brother-in-law JP (Mina) Patel, along with several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, in-laws Ramlal and Pushpa Patel, brother Michael Kosovich, sister Kathie Kosovich, and several nieces and nephew.

A celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Village on The Green Clubhouse, 1563 E. Rolling Green Drive, Draper, Utah 84020 (please enter through the gate directly across from the Temple).

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 11800 South 300 East, Draper, Utah 84020.
