Virginia Adella Hansen

Virginia Adella Banks Hansen, 82, passed away on December 16, 2014 in Taylorsville, Utah. She was born on September 2, 1932 in Gunnison, Utah to Clifford Lyle Banks Sr. and Iva Pearl Petersen Banks. Virginia married Don Alden Hansen on September 17, 1966 in Elko, Nevada. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

She was a member of the LDS Church and Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Virginia enjoyed making ceramics and porcelain dolls.

Survived by her children, James C. Templin Jr. of West Jordan, Sandra (Bruce) Sandall of Sandy and Gay Ann Cloward of Copperton; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brother, Gary (Pam) Banks; sister in law, Fern Banks. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Don; brothers, James and Lyle Banks.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Westland 4th Ward, 7171 South 2700 West, West Jordan, Utah. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Friday evening at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah and 1 hour prior to the services, at the church. Interment, Fairview Cemetery.
