Viola Wells

Viola Wells (88) passed away peacefully in her sleep, on December 29th, 2022, at her home in Sandy Utah.
She was born on November 30th, 1934, in Mesquite, Nevada to Royal and Rosa Leavitt.
Viola loved her family above all else, and was happiest when she was surrounded by them, playing games, laughing, and just hanging out. She loved to read and loved to play bridge. She had many friends at the senior center. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many capacities in the church. Her favorite was playing the piano for the primary children. Viola was a very giving and generous person and was loved by many. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, Pam (Scott) Mortensen, Lori (Mike) Tanner, Susan Ricker, Allen (Sharon) Wells, Kevin (Debbie) Wells, Sister Janice Walden, Brother Iren (Sonia) Leavitt, and many beloved, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by her son Lowell “Dwane” Wells, her parents Royal and Rosa Leavitt, her brother Leo Leavitt, and Sister Joyce Plank.
Funeral Services will be held at the LDS church located at 8825 So. Monroe St in Sandy Utah at 12:00 PM Jan 6th. Viewing will be from 10:00 am to 11:45 am.
