On Tuesday, March 23, 2021, Victoria Louise Flores, beloved mother of three children, passed on at the age of 74.

Victoria was born on February 18, 1947 in Dinkyville, Bingham Canyon, Utah to Carmelita (Ortega) and Fidel Gallegos. She received her cosmetology license in 1967. She ran her own beauty salon for seventeen years. In 1992, she earned her Bachelor's degree in nursing with a 4.0 GPA. She specialized in mental health providing loving care to the elderly for thirteen years. She married Rodolfo Flores on November 8, 1969. They raised two daughters, Corina and Alicia, and one son, David.

Victoria had a passion for music. She also was astonishingly spiritual. She combined these two gifts by teaching CCD and singing in her parish choir with great joy. She was an amazing cook. Her recipes were coveted by family and friends everywhere.  Her creations would become the gold standard in comfort food. Victoria was a powerful and bright soul who gave her whole heart to others generously and lovingly to all.

Victoria was preceded in death by her mother Carmelita, her father Fidel and her brother Richard. She is survived by her children Corina, Alicia and David, grandchildren Diana, Lisa, Jeffery, Hannah and Nicholas, great-grandchildren Rylan, Liam, Kyden, Kinsley and Everly, sisters Margaret (Jerry), Cathy (Daniel), Dolores (Joe), her brothers Robert (Laurie) and Jesse (Kym) and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass and rosary will be held in her honor on Tuesday, March 30th, 2021 at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, 624 W. Lennox Street, Midvale, Utah. Rosary at 10:00 am, Mass at 11:00 am.
