Vicki Lynn Ingersoll Webster, loving mother and grandmother passed away surrounded by her family Thursday, September 20, 2018 in Riverton, Utah.
"Love to my Sweet Gifts from Heaven," Kathy, Denny, Lane, Dave, Kelli, Michelle, Tyler, Brad, Nikki, Tiffany, Chantilly, and Gunner, "until we meet again."
Vicki was born March 18, 1943 to Betty Healy and Charles (Chic) Ingersoll. Vicki was a loving, caring sister to Kathie and Linda. Vicki spent her youth enjoying beautiful experiences with her own grandmothers, Grandma Healy and Grandma Caroline, in the garden and enjoying the beauty of nature. She had fond memories of her Aunt Becky, who shared with her the love of collecting beautiful dishes and teacups.
Vicki married Dennis Brent Thomas on June 9, 1961. Together they raised three children, Kathy, Dennis (Denny), and Lane. They were later divorced. She later married Robert Lee Webster and they spent many happy years together.
Vicki loved sharing her life with her family especially her grandchildren. She shared with her grandchildren the magic of imagination, fairy tales, the love of nature, the beauty of flowers and gardening, the joy of a newborn kitten, the happiness of song, playing the player piano, reading books, and the importance of having your own library (which she added to every year), the comfort of a handmade quilt, and most importantly the love of your Grama.
Vicki spent many hours quilting and building treasure chests of quilts, favorite children books, and pillow cases that were given to each of her six grandchildren to be passed on to her great-grandchildren. She made quilts, pillow cases, and wash cloths that were gifted for every birthday and holiday. Her love and gift of quilting will be enjoyed and remembered by many not only her family as she donated many as well.
Vicki is survived by her children, Kathy (Dave) Thomas, Denny (Kelli) Thomas, Lane (Michelle) Thomas, her six grandchildren, Tyler (Haley), Brad (Ashley), Nikki (Mitch), Tiffany (Tony), Chantilly (Petr) and Gunner (Bri); nine great-grandchildren, Easton, Skyler, Holden, Nathan, Kade, Chezney, Savannah, Harlie, and Eva, and her 10th on the way.
Vicki is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, and granddaughter Angelina.
At Vicki's request, "No viewing, no funeral, no black; instead celebrate my life and plant a tree for me. My ashes are to be given as a gift, back to Mother Earth."
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 26th, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Anderson & Goff Mortuary, 11859 South 700 East in Draper, Utah. Her final resting place will be in the Gardens at Wasatch Lawn near her mother and sisters.
The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Rocky Mountain Care and Hospice for the tender loving care they provided to Vicki.
We love you Mama, we love you Grama, we love you Vic; you will be in our hearts always and forever.
"God looked around his garden and found an empty space. Then he looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest; God's garden must be beautiful as he only picks the best." -Author Unknown
