Vicki Lish

Our sweet, dear wife, mom and grandma passed away peacefully on August 6, 2016 after a dignified and graceful battle with ALS.  Vicki was born on 12/27/1946 to Douglas and Florence Quayle.  She grew up very tender-hearted.  She found beauty in the simplest of things.  She was raised in a family filled with humor, love and joy.  She is survived by her siblings Susan (Larry) Hanks, Julie (Kent) Bell and Thomas Quayle.  She had 6 wonderful children who were the joy of her life.  Their lives were infinitely blessed by her example and unconditional love.  Jennifer Acomb, Sterling (Julie) Acomb, Lindsay (Tyler) Woods, Jeremy Westenskow, Andrew Westenskow and Daniel (Mindi) Westenskow.  She met the man of her dreams when she walked into Cottonwood Heights Pharmacy and asked "are you hiring". Vicki married Harold Paul Lish in April of 1987 and added his 7 beautiful daughters to her family, they loved, adored and cherished her as their mom.  Jeanne (Jeff) Smith, Joyce (Powell) Wyatt, Cindy (Glen) Newsom, Nancy (Gary) Gries, Pamela Lish Moyer, Karen Sue Lish and Ann (Rick) Bjornson. Vicki had many talents and passions, including scrapbooking, calligraphy, and was an expert quilter.  Quilting brought tranquility even when she lost the ability to use her hands. She was the perfect person, she had so much compassion, kindness and a consistent and constant attitude of gratitude. She was selfless in her service to her family, community and faith. She had an unwavering testimony of Christ and his plan. Her legacy will continue through her 21 children, 28 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren that were fortunate enough to experience her grace and beauty.
