Vicki Hansen

A life well lived! Vicki Worthen Hansen, age 74, passed away peacefully in her sleep, at home, on Saturday, September 12, 2015. She was born to the late Jack and Erma Worthen on March 27, 1941.

Family and friends were most important to her. She spoiled her children and grandchildren. She was known to throw one of her famous "salads" together when one of them dropped by. Vicki loved the holidays and would spend the months prior to Christmas decorating her house, inside and out, and decorated an amazing tree. Christmas was a time for family and she always made sure that the "kids" had an amazing Christmas, even if it meant that she went without.

She loved playing games, spending time with her sisters, trying new foods, and talking on the phone for hours! Some of her other hobbies included keeping an immaculate yard, cultivating her garden, cooking, and watching her favorite TV "shows." Vicki had an excellent (often mischievous) sense of humor. She filled a room with her loving smile.

Our lives are forever changed as she has taken a piece of our hearts with her.

Vicki is survived by her husband, Max L. Hansen, children, Troy Shadoan, Deanna Bame, Stacy (Patrick) Haley, Wesley Hansen, Jack Hansen; grandchildren, Reanna (Debbie) Thompson, Jeremy Shadoan, Josh Shadoan, Victor Bennett, Shayden Hansen, Oceania Haley; great-grandchildren, Justin Adrus, Liam Thompson; siblings, Marge Petty, Jack (Bonnie) Worthen, Pat (Terry) Breen, Cliff Worthen, Linda Humphrey, Robin (John) Covington, Sandra Worthen. Also many nieces and nephews that she loved very much. Preceded in death by her daughter, Barbee; grandson, Michael; siblings, Shirley, Roger, Deanna; and her beloved dog, Julian.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah. Viewing and visitation to begin at 10:00 a.m., prior to the service. Interment follows immediately with a graveside blessing at the Fountain Green Cemetery, Fountain Green, Utah.
