Veda Adamson

Our Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, age 81, passed away January 5, 2015 in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City.

Veda was born December 5, 1933 in Murray, Utah to John and Myrtle Christensen.

Veda married Robert Adamson February 4, 1953 in Memory Grove in Salt Lake City.  They were later sealed on March 6, 1973 in the Salt Lake Temple.

She was an active member of the LDS Church and loved the opportunity she had to serve in the Jordan River Temple. She worked and retired from Litton Industries.  She loved to spend time with her family.  She loved to travel to different places around the world.  Her favorite place to visit was Israel.  Veda was known for her amazing crafts.  She had talents to sew, crochet, doing plastic canvas among other things.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bob, a sister, Arleen Sotherland and a brother, Carl Christensen.

Survived by son, Byron (Verla), daughters, Joan (Gerald) & Cheryl, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and sister, Maurine.

Viewings will be Friday, January 9, 2015 at Goff Mortuary from 6-8 p.m., and one hour prior to the memorial services.  Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. at the Jordan 4th Ward Building on Saturday, January 10, 2015 (3676 W. 4700 S.). Interment following at the West Jordan Cemetery.
