ValDean Hansen Rodeback returned to the arms of his Heavenly Father, his parents and two brothers and a sister in law on November 12, 2016. He was born October 15, 1953, in Murray Utah to Welby H. and Chloe Hansen Rodeback. He was the fifth of 6 children and the 4th boy in the family. ValDean attended Emerson Elementary, Erving Jr. High and graduated from South High School. He also went to Salt Lake Community College. He was a member of the LDS Church and was so happy to go through the temple. ValDean was always ready to help when people needed something fixed, moved or lifted. All they had to do was ask and he was there to help. He had learned many skills from working with his father. When his Dad died leaving his mother a widow he took over being the man of the house until his mother passed away. He was a great help to her. He loved camping at Bear Lake for a week every summer with his extended family.�He also enjoyed playing Yahtzee, Kings Corners, working puzzles and he loved reading. His thing was driving truck, he liked being behind the wheel and on the road. He worked as a deliveryman for Dunford Bakery for a number of years and then worked for Skaggs Supply�s driving and stocking shelves and later in their warehouse. He also drove for a while delivering auto parts. Later in his life he worked for Peak Security. His health started failing to the point that he couldn�t work or do much. He will be greatly missed by his family, Donna (Jim Fulks), Joyce Rodeback and Galen Rodeback (Wendie Russon Rodeback- deceased). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces who love him as he loved them. His brothers preceded him in death, Clifford and Jay Rodeback. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 at the Aspen Mortuary 459 W. Universal Circle (9160 south) Sandy Utah. He will be laid to rest next to his parents. The closing of the grave will be at 1:00 on Friday afternoon at Redwood Memorial Estates at 6500 S. Redwood Rd. in Taylorsville, UT
