Twilla Lambert Gordon was born on May 15, 1946 in Roosevelt City to Nolan Lambert and Elva Holgate Lambert. She was later adopted by her aunt and uncle Clarence Devoe Lambert and Afton Garrett Lambert. She had an older sister, Carolynn Lambert and three half siblings, Bunny, Kirk (deceased from cancer) and Merna Conaway.
Twilla graduated from Madison High School in Rexburg, Idaho in 1964. She attended Ricks College and later received her cosmetology license.
She married Ronald F. Gordon on December 27, 1969 in the Manti Temple. Twilla served dutifully in many callings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including Relief Society President, Primary President, Ward Activities Leader, Nursery Leader, and primary teacher. She always had a special love for little children.
Twilla is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald F. Gordon and her children: Alan Todd (Eunie) Gordon and children Madeleine, Andrew, and Olivia Gordon, and Mallory and Jet Piper, Preston (Ruthie) Gordon and children Idalia, James, Michael, and Jacob Gordon and Skyler Paice, and Ariana, Jaxon, and Waylon Crothers and Nolan Gordon, Kindred son, Kirk Nigro (Michelle) and their children, Alexis and Samantha.
Funeral and viewing services will be held on Saturday, February 12 at the North Nephi Stake Center located at 1125 North 400 East, Nephi, Utah, 84648. Viewing will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM. Funeral services will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Interment is located at Vine Bluff Cemetery, 1200 North 400 East, Nephi, Utah 84648 at 2:00 PM.
