Toni Smith

Sandy, UT - Toni Smith, 70, passed away Christmas morning, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 24, 1950 in SLC, Utah, to George and Mary (Casich) Jones.

Toni graduated from St. Mary's of the Wasatch in 1968. She married Robert (Bob) Smith on June 26, 1971. They shared 50 loving and devoted years together. Toni and Bob were founding members of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, then attended for over 40 years. She managed Vi's Hallmark then worked at Wells Fargo, where she formed many close relationships with customers and co-workers. Toni was the most thoughtful gift giver, impeccable decorator and greatest cook.  She made every holiday special.

Toni is survived by her husband, Bob; three daughters, Bernadette Smith, Michaele Smith and Robin Smith; two grandchildren, Mila Loflin and Ethan Loflin; sister, Mati Jones; sisters-in-law, Bonny Smith, Rose (Steve) Nolton and Melody Smith; brothers-in-law, Jerry Smith, Kevin Smith, Bud Smith, Kelly Smith; as well as many dear cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Zane Robert; her parents; and sisters-in-law, Gaye Smith and Judy Smith.

A rosary will be held at 6 pm Wednesday, December 30th at Blessed Sacrament Church, 9757 S 1700 E, Sandy. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, December 31st at 2 pm. Funeral will also be livestreamed on https://www.facebook.com/blessedsacramentsandy . In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
