Obituary
Dean Williams passed away July 4, 2018 due to old age. He was born January 23, 1940 in Salt Lake City, UT to Thomas Jay Williams and Jennie Marcella Bergman Williams, the oldest of three children.
Dean graduated from West High School. On July 15, 1960 he married Geraldine Taylor in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and they were blessed with six children. Dean graduated from BYU with a degree in electrical engineering. He worked much of his career as an electrical engineer and finished it off working as an electrician with his son for many years.
Dean diligently served in many church callings throughout his life including high councilman and bishop. He loved all those he served and served with. He had a great love for the temple and served as a temple worker many times his life and right up to his death. Dean was generous with his time and talents. He often helped family, friends, and neighbors before he found time for his own.
Dean is survived by his wife Geraldine, children Ann (Marci Milligan), Janet (Jim Johnson), Tom (Jodee McCurdy), Elaine, Robert, Alice (John Bolinder), eleven grandchildren and his sister Joan (Chuck Bohman). He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Gail (Colin Andrews).
A memorial service will be held in his honor at the Jordan Oaks 2nd Ward, 7950 S. 4000 W. West Jordan Utah. It will be held Saturday, July 14 2018 at 1:00 pm.
