Thomas J. Burke

Thomas J. Burke, age 70, our exceptionally loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away surrounded by loved ones at home.

Thomas was a dedicated educator of 41 years. He enjoyed his family, U of U athletics, golf, his peonies and coaching his MathCounts teams. He was a faithful member of the LDS church and served in many callings.

Survived by wife, Susanne; children, Charlotte (Heath), Marnie Davis (Michael), Mindy, James (Des), Britanie Green (Robert); sisters Derba Rushton (Steve), Darline; grandchildren, Jordan, Matthew (Stacie), Bryton, London, Alexia, Mark, Luke, Sophie, Jaynie, Jayden. Preceded in death by son Thomas; brother Wayne; sister Judy Stromberg.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Midvale 7th Ward, 8350 S. Jackson St. Viewing Wednesday 6-8 pm at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State, or Thursday at the church 9:45-10:45 am. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
