Our God fearing and loving Father, Grandfather, husband, brother, cousin, and friend Tevita Taukinukufili Hola Sr., 73, passed away on the evening of September 27, 2016 at his home in Midvale, Utah. Born December 17, 1942 in Tonga, to Sosaia and Ella Hola. He married Mele Usu Fine in June 1976 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a man who loved gardening, fishing, camping, cooking, and of course spending time with family and friends over a good game of cards. He was also a man of great faith. At the tender age of 10, he no longer had both his mortal parents, and learned very quickly to look after his siblings. As a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, he developed the impotance of our heavenly father's plan. He served an LDS Mission in Tonga and there gained a personal testimony of Priesthood power. Tevita is survived by his children: Osaiasi Tovi Lavulo-Hola, Viliami Kalisi Hola, Paula Misinale Hola, and Tevita Taukinukufili Hola Jr.; grandchildren: Christian Hola, Alilia Hola, Sienna Hola, Sosaia Hola, Machai Lavulo, Kalai Lavulo, Tovi Lavulo Jr., Sione Lavulo, Alexander Tevita Taukinukufili Hola, Semisi Hola, Sosiua Hola, Melekoula Uheina Tiffany Hola. Funeral services will be held Monday October 3rd from 8 a.m. to Noon. Immediately following will be the Bishop's program from Noon to 1:30pm and will then be transported to Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Rd. Flowers may be taken to 7100 so.
