The light of our lives, Taysia Kaye Lovell, joined our family January 29, 1988 in Provo, Utah. She was tragically taken from us on Monday, February 27, 2023 as the result of an automobile accident on her way to work.
Taysia grew up in Salem and attended schools in Salem and Spanish Fork. She graduated from Spanish Fork High in 2006. Taysia worked through her high school years serving others at the local gas station and Diamond Grill. She learned quickly and advanced her way through various skilled positions in Healthcare, medical coding and dental assisting; finding her love as a server at Texas Roadhouse, Outback Steakhouse, Mi Rancherito and her current position at Lisa's County Kitchen in Nephi, Utah.
Taysia always loved to draw. During covid she stayed home to be with her "bonus" children Kayla, Logan and Tristan. In her fun loving way; activities with them drawing pictures turned into a hobby and she began sketching animals. She was asked to draw her cousins dog who had just passed away. Taysia always loved animals and had many special pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, hamsters and an iguana. Combining this love and her self taught artistic talent she helped people near and far heal after their pets crossed over the rainbow bridge. She created aTikTok page to share her talents, love for laughter and meeting people.
Taysia loved and lived life. She loved to travel and spend time with her people and did as often as she was able to. She ventured out on her own to meet total strangers who became her best and cherished friends. Throughout her life she lived and loved with her whole heart. She was timeless, her love and light will live on in the hearts of all those she touched with hers.
Taysia is survived by her beloved parents Jim and Deb Hansen Lovell (Leamington), brothers Tyson Lovell (Mapleton), Jeron Lovell and fiancé Shay Rowley (Orem), nephews Landon and Sawyer, grandmother Kay Hansen (Delta), step-children Kayla, Logan and Tristan Fish, and her precious fur babies Cooper, Oliver and Oakley, as well as many special aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by grandparents Duane Hansen, Jerald and Wilma Lovell and Nanette St. Pierre.
A viewing will be held in her honor Tuesday, March 7 from 6-8 pm at Anderson Funeral Home, 94 W. 300 N., Nephi, UT, and again Wednesday, March 8 from 10-11:45 am at the LDS Church, 90 S. Center St., Leamington, UT. A Celebration of Life will follow the graveside service back at the church at 1 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donate to your local animal shelter in Taysia's name or rescue a pet if you choose.
