Suzanne Greene Seyfried was born on July 10, 1923 to Lynne Birdsall Greene and Susan Ella Wilson in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Southwest High School in Kansas City in 1942. She attended Hockaday Junior College in Dallas, Texas, then entered the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1948, after majoring in Art and minoring in English, in Secondary Education. She obtained a Master's Degree in Art in 1949.
She married William E. Seyfried in Columbia in 1949. They had 66 years together. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple in 1960.
She is survived by a daughter, Lynnda Greene of St. Louis, MO; a son, Paul Seyfried of West Jordan, UT; four grandchildren, Anjuli, Mallory, Madison, Sheridan; three great-grandchildren, Maresa, Anjelus, and Conrad.
She was devoted to her family; painted portraits, and cut silhouettes of her own family and others. She enjoyed knitting and sewing, including smocking, for her own and others' children. Suzanne had a strong testimony of the LDS Church. She loved temple work and did much family research and eternal sealings.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 23 at 12 Noon at the Midvale East Stake Center, 240 East 7570 South, where there will be a viewing from 10-11:45 a.m. Interment, Lake Hills Memorial Park.
