Susie Ann Skiby December 23, 1978 June 17, 2017 Our little angel left this earth on 6/17/17 surrounded by family after several years of sickness and pain. Though physically limited by her struggles she never let it hold her back mentally. She loved school and completed college courses with high honors, made quick friends with anyone she met and several lifelong friends along the way. She had a very kind heart and was always worried about the well-being of those closest to her more than she was herself; especially her Grandma Judy, who loving cared for her the majority of her life. Anyone around Susie could feel the presence of angels. Susie had a zest for life and strived to live her life to the fullest. Her internal light always shown brightly and she always had a warm welcoming smile on her face. She was an intelligent woman and found a deep enjoyment of mathematics and science. Her brilliant mind was always at work in helping others. Her passions led to co-authoring a book on a new braille mathematic annotation method to allow advanced mathematics to be more accessible to the blind and visually impaired community. Her desire and pursuit of knowledge was an inspiration to all who knew her. Her Great Uncle Val Bertoch and Keith Ward, Uncle Scott Skiby, and her Aunt and sister in heart, Kimberly Price preceded Susie in death. Also passed are her Great Grandparents, James and Margaret Bertoch, Grandfather, Ron Jensen who were wonderful caretakers and of whom she cared for deeply.
