Susan Leah Chief Eagle, 76, of Salt Lake City, passed away on July 10, 2017.
She was born on June 18, 1941 to Benjamin Lamar Roberts and Leah Scott Roberts in Provo, Utah.
Susan was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She had an infectious and memorable laugh.
She enjoyed doing her word search puzzles and listening to music. Her love of Elvis went unmatched. Her grandchildren often searched for the perfect Elvis gift; often finding unique gifts she loved.
Susan married Florentine "Frosty" Joseph Chief Eagle on September 6, 1965. Together they had three daughters: Jeanneal Earl, Sioux Ann Chief Eagle and Theresa Chief Eagle. Although divorced, they remained friends and often talked on the phone.
She is survived by her sister Hazel Palmer; her three daughters; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The visitation is from 6 pm until 8 pm on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State St., Midvale, Utah 84047.
