Steven Robert Drew, age 56, passed away on September 6, 2019.
He was born in American Fork, Utah to Carol Forbes and Robert Drew on December 14, 1962. He later gained a loving step-dad, Vincent Jack.
Steve had the true gift of gab. He truly enjoyed meeting new people and visiting with everyone. No one was ever just an acquaintance, he made friends easily. There was nothing he couldn't fix once he set his mind to it. He was always wanting and willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He showed his love to his kids and others by being there when something needed to be done. He had a passion for his job at Union Pacific where he worked for over 30 years. Railroading was his life, it is often said that he had railroad tracks instead of veins running through his body. If something seemed impossible, he would figure it out. His family was number one but the railroad was a close 2nd.
Steve loved camping, four wheeling, cooking his prize winning dutch oven dinners and just being with family and friends.
Steve was truly meant to marry Shawna, their love for each other was unconditional. He leaves behind his loving wife Shawna Drew, his children Kambrin (El) Drew, Jerica Drew, Tiffany Drew, Lacey (Ross) Dunford, Jacey (Trevor) Thomas, grandkids Carolee, Luke, Kamilyn, Emilyn and Lexi Jo, Steve's siblings, Denise Sampson, Diane and (Chris) Pace, Terrie and (Dan) Holdsworth, Delbert Drew, Kenny Drew, step siblings Jennifer (Jon) Richardson and Jimmy (Mindy) Jack. Preceded in death by his parents and sister Pamela Alleman.
He will always be remembered for his unmistakable laugh, sense of humor, his contagious smile and his willingness to help others.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 11th at 12:00 noon. There will be visiting between 10:00 and 11:45 am prior to services at Mona 3rd Ward, 65 W 800 S. Interment at Mona City Cemetery.
