Steven Douglas Anderson

Steven Douglas Anderson, 59, of West Valley City, UT died October 30, 2019 following a battle with cancer. He was born November 13, 1959 in Salt Lake City, UT, the eldest son of Douglas and Lois (Hancock) Anderson. He is survived by his wife Robin, son Seeth (Jinny) McGavien, daughters Jacqueline (Galahad) and Tara, and his brother David (Shelley). He is also survived by three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents and sister, Cathy.

Steve was raised in Midvale, UT where he loved to hunt with his father and get into mischief with his siblings, He loved to collect coins and go metal detecting. He always had the best taste in music. He knew the right songs for all the right moments.

In 1981 he married Christina Pearson, with whom he had three children. Steve worked for Mondi for 20 years, and married Robin Moosman in 2002. Steve loved going to concerts with Robin and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 15th at 6:30 p.m. at 8171 S. Jackson St., Midvale, Utah 84047.
