Stephen (Steve) Darrel Rushton

Stephen Darrel Rushton (Steve); Husband, Father, and Grandfather, returned home to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 12th, 2017. He is survived by his eternal spouse, Debra, his children, Stephen (Kendel) (Ken), Sarah (Caleb), Baard, Arabella, and Coco, his parents, Darrel, and LeAnn, his siblings, Dave (Maureen), Julie, Hal (Sandy), Jeff (Hazel), Kent [Amy], and Jay He is also survived by all of his nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved as children of his own. Steve is also survived by his grandchildren, Tank, Dante, Cookie, Morgan, Bailey, Leo, Mabel, Scooter.

Steve always had an incredible sense of humor, and love for reading, and music. He was very passionate about researching his family history. He loved telling stories he learned about the family, or any archaeological information he may have learned of. Steve was a great thinker. He had a solution for everything, and when he didn't, he would still make someone feel okay, by saying, "We'll figure something out." Steve had such a love for any sport. He was so so so strong. He loved to run, and is undoubtedly playing golf right now, with his brother Tom, after which he'll hurry to catch his baseball game.

We will all feel the loss of this amazing man. His shoes are too big to fill. I think we can all find solace in this hard time though, by simply asking ourselves, what inappropriate joke would Steve tell me right now, to make me smile? Then laugh, and repeat.

We all love you Dad, and we always will, just as you will always love and be with us.
