Stephen Mark Glover

CANCER SUCKS!

Steve was born on Mar. 31, 1960 in Brigham City, Utah to James L. and Merlene Hess Glover. They later moved to Ogden. At age 7 he swam with AAU swim team and won many medals and ribbons. At a young age he learned to ski and became an avid skier for the rest of his life. He went to school in Ogden and Sandy, Utah. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1978.

Stephen had his first battle with cancer at 19, and won. He loved to fish and said "All problems can be solved with one day of fishing." The mountains were his second home; he worked at Alta Ski Resort for many years and made many friends. In the end, cancer won the battle after a long and hard fought battle. Despite the struggle, he had high spirits up to his last breath. Everyone that knew Steve says that he had a big heart and was "one of the good guys." He is missed by his family and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents and father James. Survived by his mother, sister Kelli Anderson, brother Kenny (Joycelyn) and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Liz Blanton who was by his side through his long final battle.
