Stephanie Kartchner Farr

Our beloved wife, sister aunt and friend, Stephanie Kartchner Farr, 68 passed away peacefully at her home in Nephi on February 5th, 2023. She was born on June 20th 1954 in Monticello Utah to Harvey John and Susan Ardell (Jimmie) Kartchner. Stephanie married Mitch Farr in the Manti Utah Temple on May 16th, 1997.
She worked at BYU as a secretary and Utah Valley Hospital as a Medical Transcriptionist up until December of 1996 when due to health issues she could no longer work.
Stephanie enjoyed sewing and crocheting, loved music including playing the piano and the flute. She would sing with her sisters for the Daughters of the Utah pioneers luncheons and other events. She loved to serve others and would always make everyone around her feel loved and special, she would write over a hundred birthday and other cards to people throughout every year.
Stephanie is survived by her husband Mitchell Gary Farr, and her 4 brothers and 3 sisters, John (Meredith) Kartchner, Pearl (Wayne) Hurst, Nancy (Jim) Butterfield, Allyn (Jack) Thompson, Brent (Vicki) Kartchner, Whitney (Debbie) Kartchner, Bruce (Theone) Kartchner. Inlaws: Gary Farr (father in-law), Todd (Tuesdee) Farr, Mark (Heidi) Farr, Chad Farr, Ryan (Marie) Farr, and many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
Stephanie is preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Harvey John and Susan Ardell (Jimmie) Kartchner, Dixie Farr (mother in-law)
Funeral Services will be held Friday February 10th at 11am with a viewing at 10-10:45am. Funeral services will be at the Nephi North Stake house located at 1125 N 400 E, Nephi Utah. Stephanie will be entombed in Blanding UT.
