Silvia Georgina Ferron-Zepeda, age 79, passed away on March 17, 2019 at The Sandy Health and Rehab Center in Sandy, Utah due to natural causes. She was born on August 25, 1939 in La Paz, Baja California Sur in Mexico to Maria Del Carmen Zepeda Ilizaliturri and Jose Ferron-Romo. She was widowed.
Silvia was a single mother who immigrated to the U.S. and settled in Utah to help her children work towards the American Dream. Silvia was a nurturing matriarch who not only raised her children, but raised her sister's children and her grandchildren as well. She was loved by all in her family and was an example of kindness and selflessness. She will always be remembered for the bright ray of sunshine she brought into everyone's life. Some would say, she was LIT?
Silvia is survived by her children Cecilia Del Carmen Ruiz-Ferron, Alejandra Godínez, Noe Ferron, Claudia Michele Ferron, and Gabriela Castañeda as well has her many grandchildren.
