Sheryl Vicchrilli

On December 30, 2014, Sheryl A. Vicchrilli returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father and parents, Arvel and Cora. She was born June 7, 1937. She married Von A. Vicchrilli on January 30, 1959 (later divorced). Together they were blessed with 7 children; Vance (Susan), Sheri Bridge (Mark), Shauna Nielsen (Carl), Randee (Denise), Roger, Veleen Trusty (Chris), and Russell (Sandra). She was also blessed with 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Mom is survived by her children and two brothers, Stewart "Dusty" (Theryl) and Jeff (Linda), and Teresa Vicchrilli Johnson, a former daughter-in-law that shared her home for many years.

Mom started her working career at the age of 40 with the Utah Job Service Department. She then worked 25 years for FHP/University of Utah until her retirement at the age of 75. She was a friend to everyone she met. We often heard "your Mom is so sweet!" Mom was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and loved doing extractions. She also loved spending time with family, doing crossword puzzles, Oreo cookies, the color purple, and traveling. She will be truly missed by all! Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Midvale 7th Ward, 8350 S. Jackson Street, Midvale, Utah. Viewings will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah and 1 hour prior to the services, at the church. Interment, Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
