Sharon Nokes Schow, 72, passed away on January 28, 2020 at home in Sandy, Utah. She was born on March 24, 1947 in Murray, Utah to Kenneth and Mary Nokes. Sharon married Michael Schow on June 26, 1967 in the Salt Lake City Temple, for time and eternity.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she held many callings throughout her life. Sharon was an incredible wife, mother, sister and friend. She was loved by all who knew her.
Sharon loved to read, spend time with her family and did thousands of hours of genealogy.
Her talents are too many to list, but she raised her children with the greatest love, and taught them everything she knew; even the boys learned to sew.
She adored her grandchildren, and spent as much time with them as possible.
Survived by husband, Michael P. Schow, children, Chantel Humpherys (Kenneth), Gary Schow (Elizabeth), Elle Sandridge (Aryk), Jake Schow (Linda), Diane Nichols (Christopher), Mariane Schow, and 21 grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her father and mother, Kenneth and Mary Nokes, brothers, Larry Nokes, Dennis Nokes, and sister, Holly Heath.
There will be a viewing Sunday, February 2, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 3, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hillcrest 4th Ward, 8735 S. Harvard Park Dr., Sandy, UT 84094, with a visitation at the church from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Crescent Cemetery.
