Sharon Langman died of Covid pneumonia on October 7, 2021. She crossed over to meet her Heavenly Father as her family surrounded her with love. Her husband and children were with her in her last hours. Sharon's legacy of love and infinite forgiveness will live on through them.
Sharon was born September 7, 1939. She grew up dancing and performing in plays and musicals. She attended BYU and then BYU Hawaii and went on a Mormon mission to California. She was a flight attendant for Western Airlines for several years. She met her husband and love of her life in 1962. Robert and Sharon married in 1963 and had 12 children together. She created a life as a gentle and loving mother. Her children always felt the love she had for each of them. Sharon and Robert were inseparable in retirement and served a family history mission focused on temple work and genealogy research. She supported and contributed to Robert's writing of several family stories.
Sharon persevered through many tragedies in her lifetime. She remained the beacon of hope in her family. Her faith in God and eternal family kept her moving forward.
Sharon embraced her sons in heaven, Lance Robert Langman, Robert "Bobby" Russell Langman II, Marc Allen Langman, Micheal Adam Langman, and Jacob Israel Langman and her grandson Joshua Quinn Meade.
Survived by her husband Robert Russell Langman, and children: Steven Russell Langman, Ladawn Langman Meade, Michelle Langman, Paul Smith Langman, Sarah Langman Fackrell, Nancy Langman Axtell, Shannon Langman Smith, her brother David Smith, sisters Dea Smith and Georgia Henderson, her grandchildren: Deveaux Earl, Angeli Earl, Vincent Jerome Meade, Charlie Fackrell, Rylan Fackrell, Adelyn Fackrell, Henry Edward Axtell, John Maverick Axtell, and Theodore Wallace Langman Smith.
A private funeral service will be held at Anderson & Goff Mortuary on October 14, 2021.
