Sharon Kay Ford

Sharon Kay Connelly Ford, age 81, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on December 15, 2021. She was born March 31, 1940 to James Patrick and Gladys Connelly. She married her soulmate and love of her life Charles Ford on October 11, 1955. Together they raised three children in the Salt Lake Valley. She cared for everyone who came into her life. Her home was the gathering place. Everyone welcome anytime. She raised many fur babies. Most of them came to her broken and sick. She nursed them back to health and spoiled them royally.

She worked many jobs outside her home in housekeeping, retailing and manufacturing. You just couldn't know her without loving her. She loved gardening, cooking, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.

Halloween is her favorite holiday. Her witches decorate her home all year long.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband, daughters Ruth Ann and Terry Lynn (Larry). They have four grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Preceded in death by her parents, son Ricky, sister Hazel, and niece Arlene.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 21 at 11:00 am at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale, where there will be a viewing one hour prior to the services. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
