Shannon Hoff

Shannon Hoff passed peacefully on Sunday, August 18th. 

Shannon was born on September 8th, 1956, to Dan and Lynn Gehrke in Salt Lake City, Utah. 

Throughout her life, she was an avid sports fan. Back in the Stockton/Malone era, when they were worth a s*!t, she enjoyed watching the Utah Jazz. The greatest quarterback to ever play the game, Dan Marino, made her a fan of the Miami Dolphins. Without fail, you would find her watching golf anytime there was a tournament on. She looked forward to football season and spent her Sunday’s watching NFL games with her son, Sean, cheering on the Green Bay Packers. 

Spending time with her family was important and Shannon made it to every school game or event that she was able to for all her family members. Later in life, she particularly had fun chasing around her grandson, Ollie. 

Shannon will be missed by her son, Sean (Charlotte) Hoff, his family and all who knew her. Her friends and family will remember her for her loving spirit and enduring strength. Ollie, her grandson, will miss “Mama Shannon” the most.
