Sara Colleen Brower

Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and dearest friend left this life surrounded by loved ones on August 8th, 2024. Colleen was born on April 3rd, 1936 in Malad, Idaho to Fred and Letha Schwartz. She married her love and lifelong partner Leonard Junior Brower on January 1, 1955 in Pocatello, Idaho.

Colleen loved spending time camping, snowmobiling, watching Jazz games, reading, painting, ceramics, and scrapbooking. Her greatest joy was simply spending hours with a cup of coffee, visiting with dear friends and family.

She is survived by daughters Doreen, Denice, son Mark (Bonnie), brothers Lavell (Carrol), O’neil (Denece), Denny (Louise) and 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. 

Preceded in death by parents, husband Leonard, sisters Shirley Kae (Gordon) Darline (Bob), grandson Garret Butler, great grandchildren Brooklyn, Kaden.

Service will be held at Anderson & Goff Mortuary, 11859 S 700 E, Draper, Utah 84020 on Saturday, August 17th, 2024 at 11:00 am, with a viewing from 10-10:45 am. Viewing will be held on August 16th at Anderson & Goff Mortuary from 6-8 pm. Graveside service will be on Monday, August 19th, 2024 at Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 Camp Williams Road.
