Our incredible and dearly loved mother, grandmother, sister and friend returned home to the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on October 17, 2019. Born Feb. 23, 1946 to Deon and Geraldine Rosquist in Nephi, Utah. Sandy spent most of her life in Ephraim, Utah. Sandy loved serving others in various ways. Sandy's love for kids and her experiences of raising nieces and nephews led her to open a Day Care business, "Little People Inc" in Ephraim, Utah. Her love for little people along with her love to dance as well as doing yard work, and the smell of the best homemade bread ever, led to 30 years and hundreds of kids who still remember Sandy's Day Care. Sandy moved back to Nephi 16 years ago to be closer to family and grandkids. Her life's passion was supporting her family in all that they did.
She is survived by her son Alan and Teri Edmunds of St. George, and daughter Cimberly and Shaler Jensen of Nephi. She adored her 6 grandchildren: Hadley, Chandler, Mckaylee, Abriee, Kallie, and Brevik. She is also survived by her siblings: Buddy and Diana Rosquist of Boulder City, Nevada, Von and Mary Rosquist of Levan, Gerald Rosquist of Nephi, Dale Rosquist of Levan, Fred and Barbara Rosquist of Frankfort, Kansas, LaDaun and Rick of St. George, and Cary and Chris Rosquist of Beaver. Mom was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Teresa Ann Edmunds, and grandson Hadley Shaler Jensen.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 26 at 11:00 am in the Levan Ward Cultural Hall, 100 East Center Street. Interment at Levan City Cemetery, luncheon to follow. Our family would like to express gratitude to the entire staff of Central Valley Medical Center, and Central Valley Hospice for the care they have given to her and for making her comfortable at this tender time.
