Sally Cinda Bowles Gord, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend returned home to Heavenly Father on November 30, 2016 surrounded by loved ones. She was born on May 27, 1946 in Murray, Utah to John T. and Sarah Bliss Bowles. She married her eternal companion, Curtis I. Gord on June 30, 1964. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple where her family was sealed to her for time and all eternity.

Sally's strong faith and testimony sustained her as she served in many church callings including 8 years of service in a Relief Society presidency. Sally filled her home with beauty through her gifts and talents which included ceramics, painting, arts, crocheting, cooking, and music. Sally's greatest joy was being surrounded by family as well as raising her 3 boys into honorable men.

Sally is survived by her loving husband, Curt; sons, Shane (Michelle), Midvale; Chad (Pam), Salt Lake City; and Justin (Wendy), Taylorsville; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, GayeAnn (Ray) Bouck, West Valley City; brother, Kelly (Carrie) Bowles, West Jordan; sister-in-law, Dee (Howard-deceased) Chappelle, Richland, WA, brother-in-law, Max Rodela, Toquerville, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Fraser John Bowles, sister Joan Henline, and sister Bonnie Rodela.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Midvale Stake Center, 8171 S. Jackson Street, Midvale, with a visitation from 9:45-10:45 a.m. A visitation will also be held on Sunday December 4, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street, Midvale. Interment, Herriman City Cemetery.
