Rulon Miller squeezed the last ounce of life from his body and passed away peacefully on April 29, 2016. He was born June 25, 1929 and lived a life of love, service and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Rulon is survived by his wife, Norma Higley Miller, and his children, Marilyn (Steve) Workman, and Gary Miller. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott (Terri) Miller, his parents Herman and Elsie Miller, and his brothers Mel (Kathryn) and Herm (Christine) Miller. He was also preceded in death by his beloved niece, Jeanne, who lived with them for 5 years. He loved all of his nieces and nephews and Swiss cousins.
Rulon and Norma are the grandparents of 9 beautiful grandchildren and 15 precious great grandchildren. Rulon & Norma were always opening their home and their hearts from the very beginning of their marriage. Their love and generosity was returned to them and greatly enriched their lives. They wanted a big family so they just added more families to their dear extended family. They cherished their church family, their JB Homecenter family, their childhood friends family and their Swan Lake Vacation family.
During his wonderful life, Rulon served in many different callings and felt privileged to serve in the Jordan River Temple for 16 years. He died having given his all.
Funeral services will be May 13th at noon in the Midvale Stake Center, 8171 S. Jackson St., Midvale. Viewings will be May l2th from 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., and before the funeral from 10:30-11:30 at the Stake Center. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S. Highland Dr.
