Ronald John Troester

Ronald John Troester, passed away on April 15, 2018 peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Ron was born August 17, 1937 in Murray, Utah to Charles John and Myrtle Hutchings Troester. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Married Lois Vaughan June 18, 1960. Ron was in the automotive repair business for over 40 years in Midvale. He loved gardening, fishing and woodworking. He made many things for his family and friends which are now treasured keepsakes. He has a very warm and generous heart and will be greatly missed.

Survived by his wife, Lois; and 2 sons, Douglas (Michelle) and Michael (Annie); 10 Grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Scott; parents, and siblings, Charlene and Paul.

Services will be held Saturday, April 21st, 2018 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street at 11:00 a.m. where friends may call from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
