Obituary
Roland Anton Ostler passed away July 7, 2019 at his home in Saratoga Springs, Utah. He is the son of the late William V. Ostler and Herta E. Ostler, he was born in Swindon, England April 6, 1960.
Roland attended Millcreek Elementary, Granite Park Jr High School, and graduated from Granite High School. He was a welder by profession. During his youth he played in a band. He enjoyed motocross, which eventually hurt his legs which would haunt him in his later years. He also liked anything outdoors or sports related, such as fishing, camping, football, baseball, hockey and basketball. He also had an aptitude for painting in oils, either landscapes or mountains. His mechanical abilities were useful in building and rebuilding of cars, trucks, motorcycles and their engines. He liked working in his yard when his body would allow it. He had, at one time, some dogs which were a real big part of his life.
He is survived by his sister Linda (Russell) and his brother Roman.
Memorial Service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) Chapel 267 West Weatherby Dr, Saratoga Springs, Utah 84045. Saturday, August 3, 2019, from 10 AM- 12 PM. Under the care of Aspen Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Online condolences may be left at aspenfh.com
