Roger Leo Mecham, 72, died April 16, 2016 from Cancer. He was born May 8, 1943 in Lewiston, Utah, to Iral Fay and Anna Rogers Mecham.
After graduating from Bingham High School in 1961, he proceeded to go on an LDS mission to Central America. Upon returning, he earned a BA from BYU in History and a minor in Spanish in 1968.
He married Mary Ann Bitner, July 14, 1967 in the Salt Lake Temple. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; children, Matthew (Wendy), Andrew (Cassidi), Blaine (Melissa), Malinda (Chris), Milton (Misty), Clinton (Caryln); 19 grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, Iral and Anna Mecham; sister Lois and his son Ross.
Funeral services Monday, April 25, 2016, 11:00 am, Sandy 1st Ward, 8670 South 220 East. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street, Sunday 6-8 pm and at the ward Monday one hour prior to services.
