Roger Stephen Baldwin, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away peacefully in his loving home on June 3, 2023 at the age of 88. He leaves behind a lasting legacy of kindness, honesty, and hard work.
Born December 5, 1934, in Kansas, Missouri, to Willam Henry Baldwin and Helen Baldwin, the second child out of 4 siblings. Growing up as a child he lived in the Midwest, throughout his life he would often share stories about crossing the cold rivers in Minnesota, the adventures that he had with his brothers, the sweet gifts that Aunt Betty would send them for Christmas and eating iced cream in the winter. As a young adult he settled in West Valley Utah and Married his first wife and had four children Russel, Rebecca, Connie, and Robert. In their marriage they later divorced. Proceeded later in adult life and he married his second wife Susan, and they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, and settled in Sandy Utah. They had four children Roger lee, David Henry, Emiley Sue, and Joy Lynn.
In his home in Sandy, Utah, he had a garden in the front yard that he would always take pride in and every summer it was full of tasty tomatoes. He would often enjoy sitting out on the porch enjoying the scenery and the chimes. He loved to fish, hunt, camp, travel, and visit with others. Always well admired for his work ethic, kindness, and never complaining about anything. He always had a large smile on his face, an appetite for potatoes, and for life! He was an active proud member in the LDS Church and served as a High Priest. He is already greatly missed.
