Robert McKay Morley, 79, passed away the morning of January 27, 2015. He was surrounded by his loving family and passed in the way in which he always wanted to go.
Bob was born March 18, 1935 as the oldest of six children to McKay and Beatrice Morley in Ephraim, UT. Bob would return to Ephraim Canyon and the mountains as much as possible throughout his life. He was a Union Carpenter who worked the best he could to always take care of his family. Bob loved to spend his time surrounded by the outdoors and mostly enjoyed the many boating adventures with friends and family that dared to accompany him. Bob is now able to spend time with his brother Russell, his son Christopher, and many of his most favorite dogs who undoubtedly were present to welcome him home.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents McKay and Beatrice, his close brother Russell, along with his second son Christopher.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jenny, two daughters, Amanda (Thomas) Butz and Mariah (Justin) Denny, and his newest granddaughter Madeline Butz; 4 siblings, Ann, Marie, Bill, and Nadine; his first three children, Kay Hansen, Steve Morley, and Cindy (Rick) Hatton. Along with his grandchildren Courtney and Jessica (Kay); Malia, Nathan, and Luke (Steve); Michelle and RJ (Cindy), and two great grandchildren Ozzie and Iris.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah. Visitations will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday evening and 1 hour prior to the service on Monday. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
